June 09 / Day 05 / All The Tired Horses

Almost 2300 hundred miles packed on in 5 days, and while that is NOT close to any record, Kai and I are a wee bit tired and needed to catch up on some much needed rest.

My shop is back open today, and I spent a few minutes at each rest stop to communicate home, so I was a more concerened with that running smoothly than coming up with writing about what I observed, but I do have some great things to share.

Weather was still cold, and a quick heavy shower got me about 100 miles outside of Edmonton, but I arrived really early and got a good dinner, drinks and healthy trucker conversations at the local bar last nite.

Day 06 will find me climbing North to Dawson Creek, the official start of the Alaskan Highway. Amazing eh?

Im already starting to find that the days are quite longer here already (sun didnt drop till after 10pm), and internet connectivity is waning a tad, and this will make for some diary issues, as Im gonna wanna go explore more than blog, and when Im finally ready to blog, internet might have a differnet opinion,
but

stick with me, for Im not forgetting about sharing.

and oh yeah, got the camera out for the first time yesterday
thought Id leave ya with my fav so far
